Alex Galvagni, a mission-driven leader committed to bringing evidence-based EdTech programs to early learners, brings over three decades of experience to Age of Learning. Alex became CEO in September 2023 after serving as the company’s Chief Product Officer for the previous seven years, during which time he oversaw the development of ABCmouse and helped create Age of Learning’s immersive, personalized, and flexible programs.
Alex’s knowledge of technologies, commitment to innovation, and operational excellence continue to help shape the company’s programs, making learning more accessible, engaging, and effective for students worldwide.
Prior to Age to Learning, Alex held senior leadership positions in the gaming, entertainment, tech, and mobile spaces. As head of Turbine, a pioneer in massively multiplayer online games, he spearheaded the transition into mobile gaming. An early team member at Glu Mobile, Alex oversaw product development and helped lead the company to IPO.
Alex began his career at NASA’s Ames Research Center, where he spent four years researching robotics and AI. He has a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University.
